Encompass Collective hosts a five-day actor intensive. The ensemble will participate in graduate school-level actor training, including movement, voice, scene study, and self-tape. The beautiful woods at Celebration Barn provide a secluded retreat for emerging actors interested in developing their skills for embodying character and story for stage and screen.

Cost
Workshop with standard double-occupancy room: $500
Workshop with single-occupancy room: $1,000
Note: A $100 deposit is required when you register for a double occupancy room. A $500 deposit is required for a single occupancy room. The remainder of your balance will be due upon your arrival at Celebration Barn.
Free for All Students
Shuttle service to and from Portland (savings of $100) is free to all students registered for the Encompass Collective Summer Retreat, thanks to the generosity of our donors:
In addition, we are offering free bus tickets from New York City to Celebration Barn and back. Register by April 15 to secure your ticket. All tickets will be subject to availability and funding starting on April 16.
Scholarships
Please note we are only accepting scholarship applications from students who have already registered for this workshop.
Scholarships will be available for the Encompass Collective Summer Retreat. Scholarships will vary in size, depending on fundraising.
To be considered for a scholarship, you must first register for a double-occupancy room. Once you complete registration, do the following:
- Send your response to the following question How will the Encompass Collective Summer Retreat advance your artistic or professional practice? via the scholarship google form. As well as upload a copy of your artistic resume.
- Submit a video of yourself performing a monologue (a maximum of two minutes). There are no restrictions on play or style, and we encourage you to perform a monologue that showcases your abilities. You can submit your video file via a Google Form here.
Registration
We use Humanitix for you to fill out your application and submit your deposit.
- Head to Humanitix and select your reservation type.
- Fill out the application questions.
- Complete your purchase.
After completing your purchase, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm the status of your application within five business days.
