Have a Seat at the Barn!

As the 50th Anniversary Season draws to a close, we are launching a new fundraising initiative for those who would like to leave a lasting legacy with their gift.

Donations to the campaign will be honored with a beautiful brass plaque which will be affixed to an armrest. The plaque can bear the name of the donor or someone whom the donor would like to commemorate.

There are many reasons to name a chair

• Show your support of the Barn by naming a seat for yourself or your family
• Mark a special occasion or milestone
• Honor an artist, colleague, or friend
• Celebrate the life of a loved one or a mentor

From now through the end of 2022, chairs in the central seating bank of the theater can be named for $1,500. All other seats, including those in the back row and in the modular seating banks, can be named for $1,000.

Once you have made your donation, a member of the Celebration Barn staff will contact you to confirm how you would like your chair to be named.

Commonly Asked Questions

Can more than one person contribute to naming a chair?

Yes! As of this writing, a group of nine and counting have made gifts to name a chair in memory of a beloved teacher. If you wish to spearhead such an effort, the Barn can even create a custom online donations page for you.

Do I need to donate the full amount now?

No. You can give $500.00 now, and pledge to fulfill the remaining balance in installments of $500 per year.

What can go on the plaque?

In general, the name of the person(s) being recognized and, if different, the name(s) of the donors who made it possible. If you desire to add an additional piece of text, Celebration Barn will work with our designers and our local manufacturer to see how we can bring your vision to life.

Can I put a picture on the plaque?

It is possible! Let us know if this is something you are interested in and we will consult with our designers and manufacturers.
