Inside the Music - Outside the Box

A rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with Deborah Henson-Conant, Karen Montanaro and participants from their "Performance for Musicians" workshop. In this "edu-tainment" event, Karen and Deborah outline their core performing principles, then illustrate them in action on stage, using 90-second performances by both students and teachers.

Mrs. Smith Goes to Washington

Written and Directed by Linda Britt
Starring Sally Jones


An intimate look at the life and times of Margaret Chase Smith, told in her own words and in the words of the people closest to her. It tells of her journey from humble beginnings in Skowhegan, Maine, to a position of power and respect as a United States Senator. Sally Jones, as Senator Smith, relates personal anecdotes and recites from her “Declaration of Conscience,” sharing both private and public moments with the audience. Senator Smith was a woman of courage and integrity, and this production brings her to life for a contemporary audience.
